That's right ladies & gentleman just before the common law marriage became official he proposed!!
ha! It hasn't been quite that long, but you would think so with all the people asking what we were waiting for.
Anyway....we took our very first vacation together to San Antonio, Texas and right there at the romantic riverwalk, he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. So of course I was excited and smiling but I forgot to answer. Eventually I spit out an answer and that was "of course!!"

Justin & Liz, As I sit here with tears in my eyes, let me take a minute to tell you what I am feeling. God has blessed me. WEhen I was pregnant, if God blessed me (us) with a daughter, her name was going to be Eliza Beth Amaral. 28 years later God has blessed us with Elizabeth Amaral. That speaks volumes to the blessing of this union.
Eight years ago I wasn't sure that I would be here to be apart of the blessing. Now I am sure that I will be here to see grandbabies if that is the wish of the Great Creater. I (we) are happier that I could ever express.
